Crochet Polar Bear

 

I finished up a season of stuffies with this little guy.

I was reading through a collection of letters by Tolkien to his kids written as if they were from Father Christmas; this enchanting book features a polar bear character that made me chuckle multiple times. I love this book and look forward to pulling it out again next year. 

I was inspired by the polar bear in these letters to make a little polar bear of my own. I followed this pattern and added bigger eyes and a plastic snout piece. I loved how it turned out! So cute. 

Next year I might make another stuffie, but I haven't decided.
